📖 How to Use the Newsletter Previewer
Enter Metadata
Fill in your Sender Name, Subject, and Preheader. These are the three most important factors for your open rate.
Monitor Length
Use the color-coded meters to ensure your text isn't truncated. Green is optimal, orange is risky, red is too long.
Paste Content
Add your email body to the content area to see how the formatting holds up on a narrow mobile viewport.
Refine and Copy
Adjust your copy in real-time until the inbox preview looks perfect before moving to your ESP (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
💡 Why Preview Your Newsletter?
In a crowded inbox, you only have a split second to capture attention. Most users decide whether to open an email based solely on the Subject Line and Preheader. If these elements are cut off by the email client, your message might be ignored or deleted.
- The Subject Line: Most desktop clients show about 60 characters, while mobile clients may only show 30-40.
- The Preheader: This is the "snippet" text that follows the subject. If you don't define it, clients will pull the first text from your email (often "View in browser"), which looks unprofessional.
- Sender Recognition: Ensure your sender name is recognizable and consistent to build trust with your audience.
- Mobile Responsiveness: Over 50% of emails are opened on mobile devices. Testing your content layout in a narrow view is essential.
