Headline Strategy
Headline 1 is your hook. Headline 2 should contain your USP. Headline 3 is often truncated, so use it for "bonus" info.
Path Optimization
Use the Path fields to include keywords. This doesn't change your destination, but it improves relevancy in the user's eyes.
Double Descriptions
You have 180 characters total across two descriptions. Use Description 1 for the main pitch and Description 2 for a Call to Action.
Watch the Meters
Text that turns red will be cut off by Google. Aim for "Green" status to ensure your full message is visible.

Expanded Text Ads (ETAs) were designed to provide a more consistent experience across devices by providing a standardized format for Search results.
- Three Headlines: While Headline 3 is optional, using it can increase the physical size of your ad, pushing competitors further down the page.
- 90-Character Descriptions: These allow for much deeper storytelling than previous ad formats. Always ensure Description 1 can stand alone, as Description 2 may not always show on smaller screens.
- Keyword Pathing: Adding your target keyword to the display URL paths (Path 1 and Path 2) can lead to a higher Click-Through Rate (CTR).
