How to Use the Reddit Post Preview Tool
Set Subreddit and Username
Enter the subreddit name (e.g. r/programming) and your Reddit username. These appear in the post header as they do on the live platform.
Write Your Title and Body
Enter your post title — this is the most critical element on Reddit. Optionally add body text for a self-post. Both render accurately in the preview card.
Set a Flair with Custom Colour
Add post flair text and pick a colour using the colour picker. The flair badge appears next to the subreddit in the header, styled with your chosen colour.
Add Awards and Engagement
Type emoji award combinations (e.g. 🥇 42 · 🏆 5) and use the upvote and comment sliders to simulate engagement levels for your mock-up.
Toggle Dark / Light Mode
Switch between Reddit's dark and light themes to see how your post looks in both. Dark mode is Reddit's default for most users today.
