Just shipped something I'm really proud of. It's been months of late nights and early mornings, but the result is exactly what I envisioned. The best projects are the ones that push you to grow. ๐Ÿš€ #buildinpublic

How to Use the Twitter / X Post Preview Tool

1

Enter Your Display Name and Handle

Fill in the name shown on the tweet and your @handle. These populate the tweet header exactly as they appear on Twitter/X.

2

Write Your Tweet

The text area is limited to 280 characters โ€” the same limit as Twitter. A live counter below the textarea turns orange at 240 characters and red if you approach the limit.

3

Add an Optional Image

Upload a photo to simulate a tweet with media. The image renders with rounded corners just like on Twitter/X.

4

Choose Your Verified Badge

Select none, Blue (Twitter Blue subscriber) or Gold (organisation). The badge colour updates in real time next to your display name.

5

Set Engagement & Theme

Dial in reply, repost, like, and bookmark counts. Toggle between Dark (OLED black) and Light themes to preview across both appearances.

About This Tool

The Twitter / X Post Preview Tool provides a precise simulation of the current Twitter/X tweet card โ€” including the dark OLED and light themes, verified badge variants, and engagement metrics bar.

Content creators, growth marketers, and community managers use this tool to draft high-impact tweets, verify character limits, and ensure that copy, hashtags, and images look exactly right before going live to potentially millions of followers.
